What a wonderful hidden gem! I hadn’t heard of Mazza Mediterranean until my husband suggested we give it a try. After recently visiting Greece and falling in love with the food—and with my husband being a true NYC “food snob”—our expectations were high. Mazza did not disappoint. The dishes were absolutely delicious, and the warm, family-friendly atmosphere made the experience even better. The Greek beer and wine were the perfect complement to our meal. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine.

This was my first visit and I hope to come back. The afghani/greek fusion was delicious. I enjoyed the lentils soup, octopus appetizer, and salmon kebob. The owner was immensely kind and his staff as well. The owner spoke about some of the dishes and offered us tea to go. Just a really lovely evening. The food was also reasonably priced. Do not miss out on this gem.

Mazza Mediterranean Cuisine serves food that is exceptional. A rare gem. I had biriyani rice, chicken kebab, falafel, pan fried calamari, Greek salad, flat bread. The Tzatziki sauce was a winner. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious, nourishing, and unforgettable. When I got home all I could think of was I want to eat more. Mouth watering. I was deeply satisfied. Food is definitely prepared, cooked and served with great love. Something that’s very hard to find today. I will be back very soon. Highly recommended 100%.

Stopped in for a quick bite and left seriously impressed. The falafel was spot-on—crispy outside, green and herbaceous inside, with a creamy tahini that tied it together. The lamb gyro was even better: tender, well-seasoned slices tucked into warm pita with bright tomatoes, onions, and a cool, garlicky tzatziki. Portions are generous without feeling heavy. Service was friendly and efficient—orders came out hot and fast, waters stayed topped off, and the staff checked in just enough. The space is clean, relaxed, and welcoming; music at a good volume and plenty of seating. Bottom line: great Greek flavors, kind people, and a comfortable vibe. I’ll be back.

Amazing food, environment, everything! Been twice and both times didn’t disappoint. The service is excellent and the family always offers suggestions, help with pronunciations, amazing and patient w/ explaining the different dishes. The family who owns the place truly make you feel at home and the food tastes that way as well. So much love and flavor!! Seasoned extremely well, super aromatic. And again, I can’t stress how pleasant and welcoming the fam is. Food really is made w/ love.

I was craving Mediterranean food and randomly popped in here on a visit to Long Island. It was everything I was hoping - delicious, fresh food, welcoming staff, and enough of a wine list for an afternoon spritz. Everything from the hummus to the kebabs to the sweets was cooked perfectly and hit the spot. I was crushed when I realized I'd left my doggie bag in the car overnight. I honestly debated risking it all for a few more bites.

This establishment was fantastic. The flavor was amazing and what I’m most glad for is how close by they are to my home. Sam, who I believe is the owner’s son, was really friendly and accommodating and treated us with kindness and a ready smile. We stopped by this place after reading about them in a Patch article that offered information about their establishment. Since we knew it was a newer locale, we were eager to give them a try. One important note is that the kind of cuisine they offer adds a flavor and a style that is not prominent in Patchogue, which diversifies the area. I love it! When we arrived, they were overwhelmed so it took a minute to get service. Yet, they were apologetic since they were understaffed and, in the end, the meal was every bit worth the wait. The soup was delicious. The meat succulent. And the wine options very tasty! In fact, we had a conversation about some ideas I thought might be good for the restaurant as far as their bar and website are concerned (like doing a wine flight given their awesome dishes that could make for excellent spread platter accompaniments to wine) and he was totally receptive to the thought and get the bar area hopping with more customers. It’s refreshing to be in an establishment that is willing to have a dialogue with their patrons. The establishment is nice, cozy, and inviting, and I highly recommend you give them an opportunity and try them out. I certainly will be coming back to have some excellent eats.

This is my first time ordering from this place. We did take out, but the restaurant looked very nice, great atmosphere. It made me want to come back and eat there. My food was ready quickly, it was all correct, and it was great. Many vegetarian options. Which I appreciate appreciated.
